Day 01 Delhi: Arrival at Delhi You will be met on arrival at the
International airport. Transfer to your hotel. Relax.
DELHI, the capital
of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend
of the past and the present.Delhi is a perfect introduction to the composite culture
of an ancient land and a window to the
kaleidoscope - that is India.
Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 02 Delhi - Jaisalmer:
By Train
Departure : 1700 hr
Breakfast will be at the hotel.
Morning will be at leisure or to shop
and see the city. Proceed to the station for overnight train to Jaisalmer. Overnight
will be on the train.
Day 03 Jaisalmer:
Arrival : 1240 hr
Reach Jaisalmer early in the morning.
You will be received
at the station and proceed to the hotel for relaxing.
Breakfast will
be at the hotel.
The city has an interesting legend associated with
it, according to which, Lord Krishna-the head of the Yadav Clan, foretold Arjuna
that a remote descendent of the Yadav Clan would build his kingdom atop the Trikuta
Hill. His prophecy was fulfilled in 1156 AD when Rawal Jaisal, a descendent of
the Yadav Clan and a Bhatti Rajput, abandoned his fort at Lodurva and founded
a new capital -Jaisalmer, perched on the Trikuta Hill.
Roam in the fort area and explore the mystical city of Jaisalmer.

will be at the hotel.
Day 04 Jaisalmer: CAMEL SAFARI
Breakfast will be at the hotel.
Proceed to the SAND DUNES by jeep after
lunch for visiting the typical Rajasthani Desert Village.
Start your
CAMEL SAFARI from the village. Ride into the desert passing through small villages
and grazing camel herds. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on
fire. Reach your camp and dinner will be served in the camp.
Overnight
will be at the camp.
Day 05 Desert: CAMEL SAFARI Continue
your safari through the desert.
Start CAMEL SAFARI winding your way
through villages and wildlife. On your way see the villagers starting their day
and the womenfolk setting out to fetch water from the desert. The children would
be going in groups to the school. Also pass by solitary temples at times.
Overnight will be at the camp.
Day 06 Desert: CAMEL SAFARI Continue your safari through the
desert. Overnight will be at the camp.
Day 07 Desert: CAMEL SAFARI
To Bikaner:
By Road 200 km/3 hr
Bikaner - Delhi:
By Train
Continue your safari through the desert.
Reach the nearest VILLAGE
and your jeep would be waiting there to take you back to Bikaner. On reaching
Bikaner have a hearty lunch at the beautiful LAXMI NIWAS PALACE.
Board
the late evening train to Delhi. Overnight will be on the train.
Day
08 Delhi: Reach by afternoon and check into the hotel for freshening
up and some much needed rest.
Proceed to the airport after the farewell
dinner for your flight back home.
